Is the train subway icon free to use?

Yes. It comes from the free Font Awesome set, released under the CC BY 4.0 licence, so you may use it in personal and commercial work as long as you credit Font Awesome.

What file format do I get?

A PNG with a transparent background by default. Choose a background colour first if you would rather have one.

Can I change the colour and size?

Yes. Set the colour, the size in pixels and the padding on this page, and the download matches what you see.

Do I need an account?

No. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to install — the file is built in your browser.

Prefer the PNG from the editor above when the icon has to sit in a document, a slide or an email where web fonts do not load. Use the code when it is going on a web page — it stays sharp at any size and takes the text colour.
